EDUCATION AT THE GALLERY
Hamilton Gallery’s education programs are designed to foster creativity, appreciation, and participation in the arts. We offer a diverse range of learning opportunities to enhance educational outcomes for regional and remote students across southwest Victoria while also engaging the broader community.

TEACHING AND LEARNING
Our Program includes:
· Creative Workshops for Adults and Youth
· Artist Talks & Film Screenings
· Guided Gallery Tours
Free guided tours are available for schools and community groups by appointment.
HG PLAY & HG YOUNG CREATIVES
Hamilton Gallery offers free regular workshops for children and teens.
HG Play – Making and Craft Sessions for Primary Students (Ages 5–11)
Young artists are invited to explore their imagination through fun, hands-on making and craft activities.
TERM TWO 2026 DATES:
4pm - 5pm Wednesday 29 April, 13 May, 27 May, 10 June, and 24 June.
HG Young Creatives – Technical and Digital Drawing Sessions (Ages 12–17)
For older students, these sessions focus on developing drawing skills and exploring new techniques in a creative, relaxed environment.
TERM TWO 2026 DATES:
4pm - 5pm Thursday 7 May, 21 May, 4 June and 18 June.
These workshops encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence in a welcoming environment. We can't wait to see you there!
