Group Tours

We offer group tours by appointment, designed to cater to both small and large groups. Whether you're part of a local club, a seniors group, or a community organisation, our knowledgeable staff will guide you through the Gallery’s exhibitions and provide insights into our exhibitions and permanent collection.

School Groups

Hamilton Gallery proudly supports arts education and welcomes school groups at all levels. Our tours can be adapted to suit curriculum needs and age groups, providing an engaging and educational experience for students. Teachers and educators are encouraged to get in touch to discuss tailored options.

Curator-Led Tours

For a deeper dive into current exhibitions, curator-led tours are available by request. These tours offer a unique opportunity to hear directly from the Gallery’s curatorial team about the artists, themes, and stories behind the work on display.

Bookings are essential for all group tours.

To arrange a tour or to discuss your group’s needs, please email us or phone (03) 5573 0460. We look forward to welcoming you to Hamilton Gallery!

ACCESSIBILITY

Hamilton Gallery welcomes all ages, abilities and demographics to our free public gallery, and we are working to improve the accessibility of our spaces for every visitor.

We have step-free access and a lift to the first-floor gallery. The mezzanine is currently accessible only via stairs with a handrail. Exhibitions may feature audio recordings alongside visual experiences, and spaces are often suitable for those with heightened sensitivities to light/sound/movement, though please check with us about our current exhibitions if this is of concern.

Our closest all-abilities bathroom is in the adjoining Hamilton Library.

If you have specific needs or questions or would like to request images or a floor plan of our facilities, please email us and our team will do our best to assist you.
