Hamilton Gallery is delighted to present Grounded, a jewellery exhibition by emerging Melbourne artist Vivian Qiu.

Working at the intersection of healing, mindfulness, and cultural memory, Qiu reflects on her Chinese ancestry and her life in Australia.

Using rice, clay, natural materials, and oracle bone script (the earliest form of Chinese writing), Qiu's intimate, wearable pieces explore the quiet power of land, how it shapes the cultures that grow upon it and how it shapes us.
