David Stephenson has photographed a range of subjects in countries around the world, including landscapes, skyscapes, cityscapes and cathedral ceilings.

Stephenson uses photography to explore abstract, intangible themes including time, mortality and spirituality. While the immediate subject of his works has varied, the underlying themes and ideas within his photographs have remained consistent.
