SEEKING VICTOR

Seeking Victor

Seeking Victor traces the remarkable story of Victor Caulfield, a local figure who in his eighties became an artists’ model after relocating to Florence, Italy.

Curated in collaboration with Dr Elizabeth Arthur, the art historian renowned for uncovering the secret life and works of Robert Martiensen, this unique exhibition explores one man’s extraordinary search for meaning.

Bringing together one hundred portraits of Victor by one hundred artists, these works invite visitors to reflect on the construction of identity and the many masks we wear.

EXHIBITION DATES: 30 AUGUST - 16 NOVEMBER 20205
